Timers and schedules let your AZIOT devices turn on/off automatically — great for lights, geysers, motors and pumps. Everything is set in the Smart Life app.
Set a repeating schedule
- Open the device in Smart Life.
- Tap Schedule (or Timer).
- Add a time, choose the days to repeat, and set the action (ON or OFF) for the channel you want.
- Save. Repeat to add an OFF time (e.g. ON 6:00 AM, OFF 8:00 AM).
Set a countdown timer
Use Countdown to switch a device off (or on) after a set duration — e.g. turn the geyser off after 30 minutes.
Schedule not running? Fix it
- Device must be online. Schedules run from the cloud, so the device needs to be connected to Wi-Fi at the scheduled time — fix any offline issue first.
- Check the time zone in the app matches your location, or times will fire wrong.
- Confirm the schedule is enabled (toggle on) and set for the correct channel and days.
- If it still won’t run, power-reset the device (main MCB off 10s) and re-check.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set a daily on/off schedule for my AZIOT device?
Open the device in the Smart Life app, tap Schedule, add a time with the days to repeat and the ON or OFF action, and save. Add a second entry for the opposite action to get an automatic on/off cycle.
My AZIOT schedule or timer isn’t working. Why?
Schedules run from the cloud, so the device must be online at the scheduled time — fix any offline issue first. Also check the app’s time zone, make sure the schedule is enabled for the right channel and days, and power-reset the device if needed.
